Caribbean street food has a home at the Pearl’s Bottling Department Food Hall. Chefs Nicola Blaque and Butch Blache (of much acclaimed Jerk Shack) have put roti, a buttery West Indies flatbread, front and center. It’s a build-your-own menu of bowls and wraps, with lots of protein options and plenty of veggies. Grilled steak with cilantro-lime rice and an asada-style dressing made the most of San Antonio flavors. For a tropical bite, go for the jerk chicken with coconut rice. Carry your meal outside and enjoy the entertainment at Gustav’s Geysers, an always lively splash pad.
