Nick & John’s Chop House
At this steakhouse in the heart of east El Paso, you can expect low lights, leather booths, and lots of flavor. You will be greeted by lovely dinner rolls filled with cream cheese, reminiscent of the great eighties-era Chihuahua Charlie’s in Juárez. As you’d expect, the steaks are great, but going off the beaten path allows for such finds as spicy lobster fettucine, full of succulent meat, and carnitas, tender fried pork served alongside a heaping serving of queso fundido filled with green chiles, chorizo, and lots of heat.
