Creative dishes—well executed, at reasonable prices—make Nobie’s a great go-to and to-go option. Order this to go: Rich Brie served with fresh honeycomb and mysteriously addictive smoked grapes, all to load on crisp toast, made us happy eaters. Ditto ethereal crispy chickpeas with some heat and crunch. At $59, a whole chicken, lightly fried and served with black truffle jus, Thai chile vinegar, and an arugula salad with coriander jam serves at least two or three. Add the huge, herby Parker House rolls and the sweet, tender brussels sprouts with an unexpected but welcome kick. And, finally, a fab pistachio pie. Pro tip: There’s about a ten-minute wait at the curb, but it’s worth it.
