Ohana Korean Grill
Tucked away in a revitalized shopping area, this small eatery was kept alive by loyal customers at a time when neighboring restaurants were closing. Although the restaurant no longer has to try so hard, the friendly staff, calm atmosphere, and fantastic food remain. Ohana offers traditional Korean fare, from yukgaejang (a spicy shredded beef and scallion soup) to kimchi fried rice. We decided on the dolsot bibimbap, which combined rice, beef, and a variety of vegetables in a hot stone bowl. We resisted stirring the bowl’s contents right away, which resulted in a pleasant crispiness to the rice.
