Passing through town on a sleepy Sunday afternoon, we were coming to terms with a late lunch in a fast-food restaurant when we happily came upon Pronto. Though it does have a drive-through (mostly to accommodate pizza takeout orders), it abounds in options, from gyros to pizzas to burgers. After hearing nearby diners raving about the Gyro Taco, we felt we had no choice but to dive right into a plate of lamb and beef tucked into a fluffy plate-size flatbread and served with creamy tahini sauce with purple onions and thinly sliced tomatoes (it could feed a family of four). The taco was accompanied by a plate full of crispy, hot french fries, in proportions that were shareable both at our table and with the next table over.
