“Inside, lounge, or patio?” is the smiling host’s first question. Kind of depends on the weather. Take the patio if it’s nice out—it has well-spaced seating, leafy shade, and a high privacy wall. We had Tex-Mex on our minds and decided on the tenderloin tacos (sounds more West-Tex than Tex-Mex). Reata does beef well, and they do a lot of it every day, sending out platters of steaks, burgers, and tacos like the ones we ordered, with chunks of wonderfully seasoned tenderloin piled atop flour tortillas with grilled onions.
