Since being sold several years ago, Ripe continues to expand with the addition of a catering service, a private party room, a next-door breakfast/bakery spot (called Ripe Sunrise), and live music on Saturdays. And the menu still delights customers with its freshness. We like the calamari tacos, the tender squid topped with crunchy red cabbage, shredded manchego, and Haas avocado slices. And the decadent bacon and blue cheese burger layered with marinated onions. Vegetarians will appreciate the interesting curried coconut veggie tagine built with seasonal vegetables, chickpeas, sweet potatoes, tomato, and toasted almonds.
