Though it bills itself a “globally inspired kitchen,” Rustica’s serves pretty straightforward but plenty satisfying American comfort food. Order this to go: For an appetizer, it’s either chicken taquitos or Disco Fries, the potatoes cut in-house and topped with cheddar, thick-sliced bacon, and green onion and served along with buttermilk dressing for dipping. After that you may want a salad for a main course, like the Greek Gyro Bowl, a sprightly mix of arugula and romaine, grilled chicken, cucumbers, kalamata olives, and feta cheese, served with tzatziki and toasted pita points. We were glad we added a slice of tuxedo cake, a delicious layering of chocolate cake, cheesecake, and dulce de leche, topped with a dark-chocolate icing. Pro tip: Rustica’s recently added a drive through, which makes pickup easy.
