With its sidewalk seating, the trolley-adjacent location of this place may be the best thing going for it. Loud Italian music, multicolored vases, and Lucite panels of art offset a menu that’s safe and predictable. The spin here is that you have a choice of fourteen flavored salts to use on your dish. On our waiter’s recommendation, we ordered the rigatoni bolognese with lavender salt, garlic salt, and spicy Scorpion salt. Alas, they did little to transform an ordinary dish, and we were simply not impressed.
