At our favorite little Longview bistro, the eclectic menu changes on a whim (check their Facebook page), but the results are always creative and delicious. Order this to go: Warm body and soul with the chili, infused with porter and served with sour cream, cheddar, and green onions. The mixed-greens salad with crispy duck breast comes adorned with candied pecans, dried cranberries, goat cheese, and a red-wine-poached pear. Sandwiches are excellent, like the brioche bun topped with a lump crab cake, butter lettuce, tomato, and aioli infused with Old Bay seasoning. Pro tip: Don’t forget about brunch, which offers dishes like chicken and waffles and a smoked salmon frittata.
