This stylishly wabi-sabi spot on St. Mary’s Strip (think polished cement floor, open rafters) represents the evolution of the former food truck, perhaps one of the first of the city’s mobile eateries. It’s a great upgrade, one that builds on all the proven elements (a tight menu of pho and banh mi) while adding a casually hip dining room with comfortable seating and a bar with sake cocktails. Our turmeric rice goi with tangy-sweet grilled chicken was fresh and ample, while flash-fried baby back ribs took on the heavenly aura of house-made chile oil.
