Skyviews of Texas Tech University
Created by TTU’s Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management Program, Skyviews impresses with its chefs in the making. Each week brings a new dining experience, as a different student (under the guidance of an executive chef) plans an elegant four-course menu with an optional wine pairing. On our visit we were treated to Brazilian steakhouse fare: seared tuna, red pepper bisque with pulled pork, skewers of grilled pineapple and beef, and bananas foster, all enjoyed while watching the sunset from six stories up and sipping jalapeño mojitos. Knowing it will all be different from week to week keeps us checking the online menus, wishing we could eat try them all. Reservations are recommended.
