This Denver-based favorite has arrived in Cowtown’s Left Bank with loads of mid-century modern kitsch and peppy attitude. Rich and pretty, the breakfast pot pie finds rosemary sausage enveloped in puff pastry with a fried egg on top. A smidge more virtuous, the burrito mingles scrambled eggs with hash browns, black beans, yellow and white cheeses, pico de gallo, and salsa verde; we added spinach and mushrooms for good measure. The pancake flight is essentially dessert for breakfast, with a threesome including pineapple upside-down, blueberry Danish, and peanut butter cup varieties. Baristas make a fine chai latte, while the bar turns out boozy eye-openers like sparkling wine mixed with rum, orange liqueur, mint simple syrup, and orange and lime juices.
