We first experienced this unique bakery and pizzeria through its pastries and bread at the Rose City Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. It has since expanded into a full-on restaurant, sharing space with the iconic True Vine Brewing Company. A morning visit found cinnamon rolls and chocolate croissants that were among the best we’d ever had. We returned later in the day to sample the evening fare, starting with the to-die-for Hot Dates: crispy Medjool dates stuffed with Gorgonzola and wrapped in speck. All of the pizzas at Sola are made with imported Italian flour and baked to perfection in a wood-fired brick oven. Out of all the pizzas, we most enjoyed the Dad Bod, topped with garlic cream sauce, four kinds of cheese, three meats, and kalamata olives.
