On lower Greenville Avenue, in an updated spot that Melios Brothers’ Char Bar occupied for decades, Son of a Butcher transforms locally raised, organic Wagyu beef into an array of $3.95 sliders (patties made with chicken, pork, and black beans are available too). Order this to go: Our favorite sliders were the pork meatball with marinara and provlone, the chicken-fried chicken with jalapeño cream gravy, and the classic Wagyu, all accompanied by lightly seasoned waffle fries and a chocolate shake. Pro tip: The drive-through window is only for pickups of orders already made online.
