Pink neon lights proclaiming “another day, another taco,” anchor the entry wall. But this isn’t just another taqueria. The Dallas outpost of Fort Worth’s popular food truck turned restaurant, it offers seriously good tacos in a cool, East Austin-y setting; glass-paned garage doors open the stylish, front lounge to the laid-back patio. With the exception of the breakfast tacos and a crispy beef taco, the menu channels traditional Mexican-style tacos, with spicy red and green salsas on the side. Our favorites were the spicy Nuevo Leon Al Pastor and Mama Castillo’s Chicken (stewed in a pico de gallo sauce). The creamy bourbon black beans made a memorable side. Don’t miss the warm Mexican chocolate cookies.
