This rehabbed house, original squeaky floors and all, is a little off the beaten trail in Bishop Arts, but it is not to be missed. The tiny spot offers only tacos and quesadillas and a small but impressive wine list. We could not have been happier with our barbacoa tacos (braised beef cheek served with slaw, cilantro crema, and queso fresco) and our fried avocado tacos, the fruit crusted in panko and topped with tomatoes, cilantro, and pickled onions. Our glass of “FrescaMosa,” bubbles and fresh pineapple, was the perfect complement.
