Its name commemorating the historic Taft-Díaz meeting of 1909, this new restaurant in the Stanton House celebrates the fusion of flavors that results from border-crossing diplomacy. The Octopus and Pork Confit tacos will grab your taste buds with a spicy salsa verde and touch of fermented lemon. The unusual tempura artichoke tacos combine the main ingredient with salsa macha, mushrooms, and black bean puree. Nothing says fusion like the MX Vichyssoise, featuring leeks, potatoes, and pasado chiles. The presidents vie for our attention with two burgers named in their honor (one with smoked cheddar and bacon, the other showcasing chorizo fondue and green chiles).
