Dining Guide
Taqueria El Si Hay
There’s not much in the way of ambience (it’s a simple shed, folks), but people perch on the sidewalk nonetheless, waiting for toothsome tacos (in corn or flour) filled with the likes of barbacoa, chicken, bisteca, and fajita. The only flaw we can find here is that the elotes—that Mexico City street treat of off-the-cob corn, fresh cotija cheese, sour cream, a dab of butter, and lime—are not served until 5:30.
