Taking the tavern theme to the max and pairing it with a solid lineup of Texas comfort food has made this restaurant a local favorite. For starters, we loved the Irish Nachos, Philly style: a top-shelf take on tradition, with a bed of fresh-fried potato chips smothered in thinly sliced ribeye, caramelized onions and peppers, queso, and sour cream. We liked the Wicked Chicken for a main course, which features a tea-brined half chicken that’s moist and pleasantly smoky. The bar offers craft beers (twenty plus on tap), cocktails, and wine, and there’s a pleasant patio.
