We are always warmly welcomed by Paul and Pennee Chanyaman, who seem to have further upgraded their intimate dining room every time we visit. Plates are artfully presented—a carved wedge of fresh pineapple, a baby coconut as serving vessel—and the menu abounds in interesting dishes offered in varying levels of heat; the mild yellow curry is a challenge to us, but the brave can choose up to three levels more spicy. We were delighted by a recent special: half a dozen tender baby lamb chops, curry served on the side, with green beans, carrots, rice, and fresh pineapple.
