The Crafthouse Gastropub
With a seasonally changing menu of regionally sourced meats and veggies, Crafthouse has a little something for everyone. We recommend pairing just about anything—salads, sandwiches, Mexican dishes—with a Pickle Jar: a delightful assortment of in-season vegetables (ours included pickled okra, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, and peppers). And you cannot go wrong with the All American or Texas Burger (heralded in this magazine as one of the state’s best), which thankfully remain on the menu year-round. Pair your meal with one of the dozens of regional beers on tap, and finish it off with the delectable banoffee (bananas and toffee) pie. Because everything is made from scratch, the service is not always the fastest, but the food is well worth the wait.
