From five-spice duck to empanadas, the dishes at this humble cafe run the international gamut. Order this to go: The food is well packaged and loses nothing in translation on the trip home. Picadillo empanadas are flaky-crusted and meaty, while broccoli florets battered with a chile pepper–infused panko are impossible to stop eating. The ideal entrée is the steak frites, where Wagyu beef is cooked to order and the fries are crisp and fabulous. Pro tip: Curbside pickup is easy, and you do not have to leave your car, as a friendly server will bring your order to your passenger window. An order of shishito peppers is a good companion for the drive home.
