Warm woods and a wall of whiskeys give this new spot an authentic feel. Besides traditional pub fare, the menu features salads, sandwiches, and burgers (including an excellent black-bean veggie version). We enjoyed a reasonably priced Irish whiskey—one of 150 whiskeys offered—before tucking into tasty mussels in a creamy, beer-laced broth. Hearty lamb-and-beef shepherd’s pie, as well as fish and chips, satisfied our pub-grub cravings. An Irish-style chicken curry was mildly spiced, with a touch of sweetness. Given the size of the entrées, the dense bread pudding with hard sauce and whipped cream easily fed three of us.
