There are certain establishments that feature signature dishes that one simply craves. For us, when we’re in the mood for guacamole prepared table-side in a molcajete, followed by tuna ceviche and a cucumber martini, Thyme Matters is what comes to mind. The global flavor combinations are always amazing. Chef and owner Alejandra Chavez trained in Italy, and it shows in her pappardelle bolognese, simmered for hours with root vegetables, and her linguine alle vongole, with littleneck clams in a light white wine and butter sauce. The inventive menu runs the gamut, from roasted corn poblano soup to curry airline chicken. Remember to make room for some tres leches cake.
