Uncle Chop’s has parked at a permanent location behind a remodeled old home whose backyard has been converted into a food truck court. There’s seating inside the house, but we love the comfortable outdoor area, with its picnic tables and Adirondack chairs. The creative menu is focused on burgers; we love the Fun Guy, with herb sautéed mushrooms, bacon, and Swiss cheese on a fresh sourdough bun. The freshly ground brisket patty, smoked on-site and seared on a griddle, is the star of the show.
