A little cosmic and downright neighborly, this sparkling white space exudes thoughtfulness in ambience and in its appealing menu, whose offerings are as gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free, non-GMO, and locally sourced as possible. Who knew good-for-you could taste this great? Try the carrot-ginger-apple soup: aromatic, pumpkin-hued, and topped with toasted sunflower and pumpkin seeds and a drizzle of cumin oil. Equally delightful, the Greens + Grain Bowl is a hearty bowl of greens with quinoa, shaved fennel, roasted broccolini, sliced avocado, and shredded roast chicken lightly dressed with sweet Meyer-lemon-and-fennel-pollen dressing and a dollop of macadamia-cashew “cheese.” Za’atar socca—chickpea flatbread—comes topped with a caramelized onion spread and fresh arugula with buttery olives and toasted nuts. Delish! And the kids’ menu looks good too.
