Formerly a small joint in Bishop Arts, Zoli’s moved north in 2018, blossoming into a full-service restaurant with an inviting, informal dining room. The New York–style pizza is arguably the best in North Texas; the impeccable crusts are crisp yet sturdy, with a nice chew. Our favorite, the Li’l Troy, sings with a combination of creamy tomato-vodka sauce, savory mini meatballs, zingy pickled cherry peppers, molten stracciatella cheese, and a dusting of garlicky, toasted bread crumbs. Soul-satisfying pasta dishes—like a smoked brisket lasagna and an appetizer of meatballs in red sauce—are also excellent.
