If you have friends from the Midwest who like beer, they’ve probably talked about Two Hearted Ale.
Our iconic American IPA is beloved by beer drinkers across the country, as well as a quick new favorite for those who try it.
At its core, Two Hearted is a simple beer. Down to earth, a little complex and a romantic at heart, Two Hearted is good company wherever you are.
Brewed with just Centennial hops, Two Hearted has huge citrus flavors and aromas, with a little floral and pine to keep things interesting. The hops are balanced out with a big malt backbone and the signature fruity flavor of our house ale yeast, making Two Hearted a beer that’s easy to love.
Two Hearted is a tribute to the Two Hearted River in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. It encapsulates everything we love about enjoying nature and the company of friends. For the past four years, members of the American Homebrewers Association has named Bell’s the best brewery in the country and Two Hearted the number one beer.
Each year, we hand select the hops from the Pacific Northwest and Michigan for Two Hearted.
Bell’s Brewery got its start in 1983 as a homebrew supply store, before selling our first beer in 1985. Over the past three decades, beer fans have fallen in love with Amber Ale, Oberon Ale, Kalamazoo Stout as well as newer brews such as Official Hazy IPA and Light Hearted Lo-Cal IPA.
Four years ago, our beer made it to Texas (for the occasion we released a special, limited release beer called “Am I Right or Amarillo,” an homage to the city and the song with the same name by Asleep at the Wheel.)
American Craft Beer Week is important to us: Being family owned, we support the creativity, culture and flavors that independent breweries create. Being independent has allowed us to continue to make beers like Two Hearted, focusing on quality to ensure every bottle, can and pint is just as good as the last one.
