Last year, Cadillac took audiences on a culinary road trip, spotlighting top chefs from Dallas to San Antonio. This year, the brand will explore bold, creative leaders in music, design, home, and sports through a video series hosted by Jay B Sauceda, a fifth generation Texan whose eclectic career brings a creative, innovative spirit to these interviews. Sauceda is the founder of Texas Humor, runs a logistics company that helps power other entrepreneurs, and when he has time, photographs Texas landscapes from the cockpit of his single engine Cessna.

Venny Etienne • Design

In his last stop along the journey, he drives to meet Venny Etienne, an innovator in the fashion industry. The Dallas-based designer speaks of how his work grew from putting on fashion shows for his church’s congregation and attending school for design, to creating pieces for some of the most prominent women in America. Inspired by the women in his life, Etienne works hard to ensure his clothes are both attractive and attainable.

David Edel • Sports

In his next stop along the journey, he drives to meet David Edel, an innovator in the golf club industry. The Liberty Hill-based craftsman discusses how he revolutionized the process of making clubs for professionals and amateurs alike. His custom system alters the club to fit each golfer’s unique swing. With millions of permutations, Edel is taking his groundbreaking approach to the masses.

Shay Spaniola is a creative entrepreneur who combines watercolor paintings with technology to create unique fabrics for her home décor line, bunglo. On this next stop, the Austin-based mom talks about the difficulties and triumphs of raising her daughter while growing a popular business, and discusses how she’s working to build a community of other “mamma-preneurs.”

Abraham Alexander • Music

In his first stop along the journey, he drives to meet Abraham Alexander, a musician who is excited to get back to performing post-pandemic. The Fort Worth-based musician gives a tour of the places that have both shaped his career this past year and encouraged his embrace of the unknown.
