Six Flags Over Texas, the Thrill Capital of Texas, is open year-round on weekends and select weekdays. The theme park is home to 14 heart-pounding roller coasters, like Titan and New Texas Giant. New in 2023 is AQUAMAN: Power Wave, a multi-launch water coaster that sends riders backward and forward up two 150-foot-tall towers at 63 mph.

Hurricane Harbor, the largest water park in North Texas, is home to thrilling slides like Typhoon Twister and The Black Hole, plus interactive water play areas for kids. Hurricane Harbor is open select days May through September.
