Taste Addison revs up its engines to launch its best food-and-concert festival yet! On June 3 & 4, the legendary North Texas cuisine-and-music celebration shows why it was voted Best in DFW in 2021, and how the popularity of its vibrant independent restaurant scene makes it a magnet for discriminating diners. This year’s Taste Addison promises to rock your world with an extraordinary selection of food vendors, beverage sampling experiences, shows by national music artists, and plenty of family fun  — that means a petting zoo, craft activities, carnival games and more — all weekend long.

The party kicks off Friday on the CBS 11 Main Stage with Jamaican icon, the dancehall rapper-singer Sean Paul. On Saturday night, Grammy-winning Stone Temple Pilots take the stage, as do the groups Living Colour and Candlebox. All weekend, look for performances by renowned tribute bands like Havana NRG, Infinite Journey, Def Leggend, the Emerald City Band All Stars, and many more. 

All that music pairs well with Addison’s exceptional food and drink: More than two dozen local restaurants and food trucks are showcased, each serving distinctive, affordable dishes, with entrees priced under $10, and Taste Bites for $3 or less. Not only are all participanting restaurants from Addison (these include Herrera’s Tex-Mex, Nate’s Seafood & Steakhouse, Table 13, Thai Orchid and many more), most of the alcohol you’ll enjoy at Taste Addison is made in Texas, too (Community Beer Co., Four Corners Brewing, and Lockwood Distilling Co. are just a few of the choices)! And check out the complimentary wine, beer and spirits sampling from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday. As Addison likes to say, “Good things come to those who taste!”

Taste Addison’s June bash whets your appetite for summertime fun that continues on July 3 with Addison Kaboom Town! Both parties are staged at Addison Circle Park (along Quorum Drive between Addison Circle and Festival Way). An Addison tradition since 1985, the spectacular Independence Day celebration brings some 500,000 guests from around the country to see the Addison Airport Airshow, followed by a magnificent fireworks display.
