Excursions to Baytown offer many exciting options from a family-friendly GeoTour to a night at the theater, relaxing on the water, or strolling a sculpture trail! Baytown is situated in the Gulf Coast region of Texas among the scenic waterways that once witnessed the decisive battle of the Texas Revolution! Just east of Houston and north of Galveston, Baytown is a convenient location to recharge while on business or explore with family.

The fall and winter temperatures are beautifully mild in Baytown and perfect for outdoor activities such as strolling the new Baytown Sculpture Trail. Baytown’s Downtown Arts District has added new dimension to its art collection with the advent of a year-long Sculpture Trail featuring 20 sculptures from artists across North America. As an outdoor exhibit along downtown sidewalks, the exhibit is free for visitors to stroll.

Why visit just one Baytown landmark, when you can visit 31 different locations around the city? Our official Baytown GeoTour gives visitors an unconventional way to explore Baytown’s top attractions, unique venues, and rich history while earning free prizes and having fun. In addition to the GeoTour, the Art-Venture Adventure Lab found in the Adventure Lab mobile app takes visitors on a fun puzzle filled tour of Baytown’s art scene.

As the heat subsides in the Texas Gulf Coast, the events turn up, especially in Baytown!
