On November 23, police in Leon County attempted to arrest Colt Morgan, a 29-year-old man suspect of killing Wende Marshall, his girlfriend. Now they’ve released the dashcam video that shows exactly how Morgan escaped custody.

Via the Houston Chronicle, we can see Morgan fight with the officer who attempts to arrest him, slipping out of his grasp. Though Morgan’s out of the view of the dashcam video following that, police say that he headbutted and elbowed the officer off-camera, who then attempted to stop him with a taser. The prongs didn’t stick, and Morgan ran away.

The video is grainy, but it provides some indication of what Morgan looked like as of a week ago, which police hope will be helpful in apprehending the suspect. Leon County Sheriff’s officers found a makeshift campsite that they believe Morgan had been using, with a tent constructed from garbage bags and duct tape—but for the moment, he remains at large. There’s a $5,000 reward for information leading to his arrest and conviction, and people with information are urged to call Houston Area Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
