Pickups are Ybarra (defeats Escobar), Marquez (defeats Moreno), Olivo (defeats Reynolds), Edwards (defeats Miles), Margo (versus Moody), Shelton (versus Barrett), and West (versus Tryon in runoff).
Losses are Macias, Latham, and Bailey.
This is a pretty rose-colored scenario. Marquez has been adamant that she will not pledge to Craddick. Margo has to beat Joe Moody in a district that a Democrat can win. Shelton has been bruised twice and is no cinch to defeat Barrett. Certainly the primary was a big plus for Craddick, as I wrote in an earlier post, but these fall races are far from won.
