The Horny Toad
It’s hard not to love Texas horned lizards, a.k.a. horny toads. They look like fierce little dinosaurs but waddle like toddlers and fall asleep in your hand if you rub their tummies. I spoke with one in a field off Ranch Road 181, just north of Odessa.
