Short for “Food and Beverage,” F&B is South Padre Island’s classy oasis for modern, farm-fresh cuisine. We always start with chef Walter Greenwood’s soft-shell crab appetizer served upright in the attack position atop a nutty roasted corn and avocado relish. Move on to the lamb chops, among our favorite ever, served with roasted carrots and potato pavé (think au gratin or scalloped, taken to a new level). Be sure to order your key lime soufflé ahead of time—that is, if you haven’t overdone things with a key lime martini.
