There’s nothing about Koppe Bridge Bar & Grill on Harvey Road that doesn’t evoke pure Texana. The unassuming structure is all dark woods, squeaky floorboards, neon beer signs, and more than two decades worth of names carved into the tabletops. Televisions broadcast sporting events while the clacking of billiard balls emanates from the game room. Koppe Bridge doesn’t strive to be anything more than an old-time, counter-service burger joint, and locals love it that way.  Large and juicy, said burgers come with decent hand-cut fries (whether you want them or not). The menu also offers chicken-fried steak, fish tacos, chicken sandwiches, and wings. Unlike the original Koppe Bridge on Wellborn Road, this second location is spacious enough for squirmy kids, making it a favorite of local families. In a nice touch, the outdoor patio offers serene views during pleasant weather.
