Located in the back quadrant of a KK’s Craft Mall, the Tea Room by Heart and Soul Cuisine takes you back to the days of quiet lunches with your grandmother, joined perhaps by a few friends, trading bites with everyone, indulging in happy conversation. The menu runs to nostalgic things like homemade pimento cheese piled high into an avocado half, a caprese sandwich (featuring a meaningfully thick slice of mozzarella, plus pesto), a decadent club sandwich (with bacon jam!). Quiche enveloped in a crust worthy of a pastry chef is offered too—chicken was the main ingredient on our visit. Oh, and everything comes with kettle chips. Plan on dessert, which is a must in this type of setting. We nearly arm-wrestled for bites of the chocolate fudge cake and the coconut cream pie.
