Aisling Ayers

Aisling Ayers joined the Texas Monthly staff in 2024 as the TV, film, and podcast coordinator. She is an assistant producer on the TM podcast Shane and Sally, and she writes about small towns, culture, and public issues. Before graduating from the University of Texas at Austin in 2023, she wrote and produced a podcast series, Forsaken, about the Texas criminal justice system. She was a recording studio intern at TM before joining the staff full time. She was born and raised in the Texas Hill Country.
