Around the corner from Allora, its tonier big sister, Arrosta is an order-at-the-counter spot designed for daytime meals and wine-thirty nibbles. The in-house rotisserie and bakery give Pearl visitors a perfect spot to nosh on salads, soups, pastries, and more. The roasted beet salad was good, but like other menu items, the portion seemed small and pretty unimaginative for the price ($12.75) and casual presentation. The roast chicken was juicy and the skin nicely crisp—that headliner makes the grade. Chicken vegetable soup was pleasant, served steaming hot, and the bread is quite nice. The sleek interior—natural wood and a tiled counter—nods to food markets in Italy. Dinner is “coming soon,” per the website.
