Clean and breezy, with tall industrial ceilings and pastel accents, this new fast-casual Austin outpost of a San Antonio favorite offers a refreshing pause for weary Domain shoppers. Perusing the sweet temptations in the pastry case, we committed to selecting from the lunch menu first. It seemed only fitting to try the house quiche Lorraine, which arrived as a thick slice of silken egg perfection complete with nuggets of bacon, gooey Gruyère, and sweet caramelized onions. We loved the perky preserved-lemon vinaigrette on the seasonal greens salad accented with smoked hazelnuts, ripe pear, and feta cheese. The classic BLT was elevated to another level by the crispy thick-cut bacon, toasted house-made sourdough, and an ample smear of mayonnaise. Be sure not to miss the French-inspired pastries, including a rainbow-array of house-made macarons. Sidewalk seating available too.
