A flock of teens in black T-shirts seems to run this mom-and-pop spot owned by Jose Cruz, with the energy required to keep those big platters of pancakes, waffles, and omelets coming. The menu is breathtaking in its breadth, and nothing we’ve tried has disappointed. Do note that most of the egg plates (like the three-egg Jalisco omelet, with chicken or beef fajita, peppers, mushrooms, and more) are plenty big enough to share, particularly if you’ve signed up for pancakes too. Lunches include standards like Ruebens, turkey clubs, and lots of salads. On weekends, the lines are generally out the door, but the wait time is manageable.
