ShyKatz is a San Jacinto neighborhood cafe serving baked goods, breakfast, and lunch. A little off the beaten path but well-known to locals, this fun spot is super cute and cozy. Breakfast is served all day, along with blue plate specials and an array of salads, sandwiches, and tasty burgers. For a bit of nostalgia, one of us ordered the grilled PB&J, with creamy peanut butter and grape jelly, and a glass of ice-cold milk. The other devoured the massive Kickin’ Chicken Kordon Klub, which comes with fried or grilled chicken, fried ham, bacon, cheese, and more. As you will no doubt be beyond full when you get up from the table, consider taking home on of the wonderful house-made cakes.
