Deep in the heart of Kern Place, just minutes from UT El Paso, is a pizza parlor that first opened its doors, on Cincinnati Street, in 1961. This family establishment has passed from one great family’s hands to another’s but the pizza remains flawless. The crust is perfectly thin, and the toppings are fresh. The pepperoni pizza is a favorite, as are Joanna’s Pizza, with tomato, spinach, garlic, pesto, and feta cheese; the arugula and prosciutto; and the shrimp and garlic. Their wall of wine will not disappoint either.
