Husband-and-wife team Matt McGlaughlin and Maray McChesney brought hoagies, grinders, and heroes to a pocket-size space in Beacon Hill in December 2022, hitting the sweet spot for neighbors, antiques shoppers, and midtown lunchers. A few sidewalk tables with umbrellas serve for dining “in,” and takeout is fast and friendly. The menu focuses on East Coast­–style sandwiches, with fat, hearth-baked rolls flown in from Philly and overstuffed with the likes of hot pastrami and tuna salad. Soups and salads round out the menu, and there’s a nice veggie hummus wrap if you’re going plant-based.
