Crawfish fans are flocking to this new Viet-Cajun outpost in the Heights to gobble up family-size portions of mudbugs bathed in spicy butters, boudin balls, saucy wings, crawfish eggrolls, and fried and boiled seafood plates galore. Order this to go: Crawfish are the thing here, of course, plump and tender with custom sauces (Kickin’ Cajun, Lemon Pepper, Thai Basil, and so on). The salt-and-pepper blue crabs are rich and tasty (but heavy on salt, fyi). The Cajun fried rice—spicy sausage, shrimp, and crawfish—is popular, as are sides of Cajun-spiced boiled potatoes and corn on the cob. Skip the too-bready fried okra. Pro tip: It’s easy to miss the small sign for the curbside pickup area; it’s on the opposite side of the building from the parking lot.
