Hill Country gourmet meets cool wine bar at the newest location of this Central Texas operation. Take a seat at a table or in a comfy leather club chair and order a flight of beer or a glass of wine from the Texas-focused list. We enjoyed the roasted oysters topped with zippy chorizo and garlic butter and the Barbacoa Doughnuts: blue-corn-and-jalapeño orbs nestled in a dollop of tangy salsa verde and topped with chipotle-glazed barbacoa. But if you are not in the mood for grazing, try the signature burger, with house-ground beef short rib and brisket on a properly toasted sesame bun. The service needs a little polishing, but that won’t keep us from coming back.
