Can’t please everyone? This neighborhood favorite tries pretty hard; the menu leans Middle Eastern but also includes steaks, seafood, pastas, burgers, pizzas, and more. We started with a falafel platter of eight perfect chickpea fritters, soft on the inside, crusty on the outside, served with hummus, pickles, and diced tomatoes. Really, we could have stopped there, but we’re glad we tried the mixed grill platter with its beautiful sampler of kebabs: tender beef tenderloin, juicy glazed chicken, and flavorful ground chuck shaped around the skewer. Fragrant with cinnamon, cardamom, and clove, the stewed lamb came shredded atop saffron rice spiked with currants, toasted walnuts, and slivered almonds. The space features dark woods, white tablecloths, art-filled walls, and an ample bar area.
