This spacious bistro and bar was an instant hit with cocktail-craving millennials. Multiple seating areas—lounge, dining room, three patios, coffee bar—have mid-century furnishings, but architectural details evoke the early 1900s. The menu shows wide range too. Boneless braised beef short ribs draped in a wine reduction and horseradish cream wowed us, as did the moist, slow-roasted chicken with charred lemon and “umami sauce” and the roasted brussels sprouts served atop delicious harissa-cashew purée. The BBQ Heirloom Carrot salad was (surprisingly) mostly lettuce. Spoil yourself with the decadent bread pudding—or come for brunch and get it in French toast form.
